Natural Resources Minister Prince Lonkhokhela applauds King Mswati for granting Eswatini Electricity Company(EEC) mining license, State owned company to use coal in electricity generation project.

MBABANE:Prince Lonkhokhela, the Minister of Natural Resources and Energy has applauded King Mswati for granting a mining license to the Eswatini Electricity Feedstock Company, an entity owned by the Eswatini Electricity Company(EEC).

The license will enable the Electricity Company under the Lubhuku Power Generation Project, to use coal in generating electricity, the license was announced during a press conference on Wednesday.

Prince Guduza, the Chairman of the Mines and Minerals Board, EEC Board Chairman Patrick Myeni, Managing Director Enerst Mkhonta and other members of the Mines and Minerals Board were present during the handover of the license.
