MBABANE:Owen Nxumalo, the Minister of Education and Training will Tuesday, announce the Junior Certificate (JC) results.
Reached for comments by this Swaziland News, Lot Vilakati, the Secretary General of the Swaziland National Association of Teachers (SNAT) said teachers played their part despite poor working conditions in the tiny Kingdom.
“We are expecting good results as teachers despite the poor working conditions. What you need to understand is that, a teacher cannot produce good results if the other stakeholders are not playing their part but as teachers, we always work towards producing the best despite the lack or shortage of resources,” said the SNAT Secretary General.
On another note, the SNAT Secretary General highlighted the shortage of food, teachers and failure by the Government to release operational funds as some of the challenges affecting various schools.
“But as mentioned, teachers normally produce the best despite these challenges,” he said.
