MBABANE:Vusi Manoma Masango, the National Commissioner of Police deployed over two hundred (200) police officers in Siphofaneni and other areas on Wednesday afternoon amid fears that, members of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces might attack anytime.
This comes after the arrest of businessman Welile Zweli Dlamini earlier last week, the member of the People’s United Democratic Movement (PUDEMO) was allegedly found with guns, bullets and explosives.
Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Eswatini Police Spokesperson, declined to comment.
Worth-noting, after the arrest of businessman Zweli Welile Dlamini, the police released the list of wanted suspects and some of them are members of PUDEMO, fighting for democracy.
Eswatini is not a democracy but an absolute Monarchy, political parties are banned from participating in elections while human rights defenders and political activists are arrested, tortured or even killed for demanding democratic reforms.
