MBABANE:Prominent Psychologist Ndo Mdlalose has applauded the Ministry of Education and Training for stopping the publication of the Junior Certificate (JC) and Grade seven (7) Results.
Responding to this Swaziland News on Saturday when asked to comment and clarify how some students are reacting to the recent results, the Psychologist said “it’s not only the students who failed who are psychologically affected but even those who did well” but not to their expected standards.
“Another obvious trigger was the delayed release of the grade 7 results. Many parents and learners expressed extreme anxiety. However; I must commend the Ministry of Education for prioritizing the learner’s emotional and psychological wellness by not publishing the results publicly and using new categories; excellent, very good, sufficient,” said the Psychologist.
