MBABANE:Judge Bongani ‘BS’ Dlamini’s comments in the Nothando Nhlengetfwa and Liqoqo member Isiah Mzuthini Ntshangase’s case suggesting that Incwala is over, undermined the authority of Ingwenyama.
This was the view of a former King’s Advisor who accused the Judge of undermining the authority of Ingwenyama by pronouncing that Incwala is over and therefore, Mzuthini Ntshangase’s umtsimba with Nokwazi Mkhwanazi must go ahead despite concerns raised by Chief Masiphula Ntshangase.
“Judge ‘BS’ Dlamini ugangile ngalenkhulumo letsi Incwala seyiphelile ibe Inkhosi ingakacitsi eMabutfo. Kube laMajaha avele ashiya leNkhosi ahamba ngoba phela kusho inkantolo kutsi Incwala seyiphelile bekutawutsiwani?,” said the former King’s Advisor who asked not to be named.
The Judge made comments that grossly undermines Eswatini Law and Custom when delivering a ruling in the matter between Mzuthini Ntshangase and his wife Nothando Nhlengetfwa.
Chief Masiphula Ntshangase was in court when Ntshangase testified before Judge Bongani ‘BS’ Dlamini, the Chief told the court that, Mzuthini Ntshangase was disrespecting him and that, he did not inform uMphakatsi that he will be hosting umtsimba this weekend.
This was during the court application filed by Mzuthini’s other wife Nothando Nhlengetfwa-Ntshangase on Friday, seeking to stop Mzuthini and Nokwazi Mkhwanazi from using her house at Mkhwakhweni when hosting their traditional wedding ceremony (umtsimba).
The court subsequently ruled that, umtsimba must go ahead at Mkhwakhweni.
