MBABANE:The European Union (EU), Ubombo Sugar Limited and other corporate companies pumped-in over eight hundred thousand Rands (R800,000.00) in cash and in kind “in support of the recently held Eswatini Media Awards”.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Wednesday, Lwazi Dlamini, the President of the Eswatini National Association of Journalists (ESNAJ) applauded the corporate entities and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) for supporting the Eswatini media.
“We really appreciate the support, we will soon host an Annual General Meeting (AGM) to present the full financial report,” said the President Journalists Association.
Other corporate entities and NGOs who supported the Media Awards include Brandin, Lidwala Insurance Company, Swaziland Building Society, Eswatini Med, Mula Sport, Eswatini Beverages, Nedbank and the Sincemphetelo Motor Vehicle Accident Fund (SMVAF).
The Eswatini Journalists Association also received support from the Royal Eswatini Sugar Corporation (RESCorp), the Eswatini Energy Regulatory Authority (ESERA), British High Commission, Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS), MTN Eswatini, Instacash, Eswatini Mobile, the Public Service Pension Fund (PSPF), Alphsz, Eswatini Sugar, Mountain View, Destiny Events, Genesis, SWANSERA and the United Nations Development Corporation (UNDP).
