MBABANE:Nontsetselelo Nkambule, a member of the People’s United Democratic Movement (PUDEMO) and leader of the Swaziland Consumer Forum, attended the ongoing public hearings, vigorously opposing the proposed electricity increase.
The Eswatini Electricity Company (EEC) has applied for another increase with the Eswatini Energy Regulatory Authority (ESERA), if approved, the increase will result to one hundred Rands (R100.00) buying only thirty-two (32) units.
The public hearings were held at Sibane Hotel and proceeded to other towns across country.
