MBABANE: Nhlonipho Mbonane who was allegedly assaulted by Industrial Court Judge Abande Dlamini is crying for justice.

Speaking to this Swaziland News, Mbonane of Hhelehhele area said he was relaxing with his friends at his work place when the Judge emerged and shot one of them before heavily assaulting him.

“He normally terrorizes us in the area with a gun and the police are not arresting him. I’m living in fear because he can come back anytime and shoot me, we have tried to report him to the relevant law enforcement institutions, nothing is being done,” he said.

Efforts were made to reach Judge Abande Dlamini, however, he did not answer his phone.

An electronic audio questionnaire was then sent to him, but at the time of compiling this report, he had not responded.

It has been disclosed that the Judge had a serious disagreement with one  of Nhlonipho’s friends before the shooting.

The Swazi Observer, a State owned newspaper reported on Tuesday that the source of the conflict was in connection with dagga dealings.

This is not the first time Judge Abande shot a citizen, in 2019, he was accused of shooting Sithembiso Mngomezulu at Kai Kai Centre in Manzini, Mngomezulu subsequently demanded R200,000.00 from the Judge as compensation.
