MBABANE: Dumisani Masilela, the highly regarded Commissioner General of the Eswatini Revenue Authority(SRA) has left the organization to join the International Monetary Fund(IMF).
The announcement was first communicated to the SRA staff by Head of Corporate Services Leonard B Nxumalo on Friday through a memorandum.
“I have been directed by the Board to make this announcement. It is with both sadness and gratitude that I announce that, after 12 years of service, our Commissioner General, Mr Dumisani E. Masilela will be leaving the organization at the end of January 2022 to join the International Monetary Fund(IMF)”, reads the memo in part.
Reached for comments by this Swaziland News, the SRA Commissioner said he decided to join the IMF after an opportunity presented itself adding that as an economist he was always eager to face new challenges and learn.
“There’s never an end to learning so I felt it was a great opportunity to take another step in my development as a professional”, said the Commissioner General.
