Copper theft suspects are ‘sentenced’ to death by the police who, instead of arresting, shoot them with impunity.

Speaking to this Swaziland News, Bhembe said he was planning to organize young people in the area to march to the police station to demand the body of the suspect, who allegedly fell and died at the Mbabane river after the shooting.

“It is possible that the police came back later and took the body from the river to hide evidence. I am planning to organize young people to march to the police station to demand answers. Now, we have one question, where is the body?” said the Indvuna yeNkhundla.

Police Spokesperson Phindile Vilakati had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
