MANZINI:Philile Mavuso,the Deputy President of the Swaziland National Union of Students( SNUS) says the abduction of their President Colani Khulekani Maseko will not stop them from fighting for democracy.
Speaking at the Swaziland Rural Women Assembly(SRWA)petition delivery at the Manzini Police Regional Headquarters on Wednesday, the SNUS Deputy President said the abduction of their President would not stop them from fighting for democracy.
“What you did to Colani doesn't stop us from fighting for democracy we will continue to fight until we get it,”she said.
Police Spokesperson Phindile Vilakati had not responded to our questions at the time of compiling this report.
On Wednesday, the SRWA marched to deliver a petition at the Manzini Police Regional Headquarters over the abduction and assault of SNUS President Colani Maseko by King Mswati’s soldiers.
