Health Minister Lizzie Nkosi clarifies why she missed SAFM COVID-19 interview

MBABANE:Lizzie Nkosi, the Minister of Health has clarified that it was not her intention to miss the interview with SAFM, a South African radio station on Monday where critical issues about COVID-19 in eSwatini where to be discussed live on air.

When asked by this Swaziland News why she missed the interview despite that the radio station had arranged with her, she said the time clashed with her appearance in Parliament and they tried in vain to reach the producers in inform them.

“Time clashed with Parliament that had not been anticipated. We tried to reach them, but their land-line was not answered” said the Minister.

The Health Minister was expected to respond to questions about the COVID-19 issues and what government was doing to fight the pandemic.
