MATSAPHA:Victoria Busi Nxumalo has alleged that King Mswati’s suspected mercenaries brutally shot her son,Malawi Ndlela who is an eleptic patient on Sunday evening.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Wednesday, Nxumalo said they were from the Luke Commission Hospital at around 9pm on Sunday when the mercenaries suddenly opened fire on them.
“When we alighted from the Luke Commission kombi at Mhlaleni,we noticed a grey double cab car with blue lights similar to those used by the State hired mercenaries.Then we suddenly heard gun shots, my son rushed into a nearby bush for cover.I followed him only to discover that he had been shot on the lower part of his head, the alleged mercenaries drove away at a high speed and we were assisted by good samaritans who took him to hospital",she said.
A questionnaire was then sent to Phindile Vilakati the eSwatini Police Spokesperson, however she had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
King Mswati hired mercenaries to shoot and kill unarmed civilians who are calling for democratic reforms in eSwatini.
