New COVID-19 cases: More youth from Manzini region testing positive.

MBABANE: The new COVID-19 confirmed cases announced by Health Minister Lizzie Nkosi suggests that more youth from the Manzini Region is testing positive to the virus. 

On Thursday, the Minister announced three confirmed cases and all of them were the youth from the Manzini region. This include a 21-year old male, a 17-year old female and a 34 year-old male, all from the said region.This comes after nine cases announced on Wednesday dominated by youth members tested positive.

“The Ministry of Health would like to inform the public of the status of the COVID-19 in eSwatini. A total of 204 results were received today, of which 201 tested negative and three (3) were positive for coronavirus. The total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases to date is 220” said the Minister in the press statement.
