MBABANE: Isaac Gcina Dladla, the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the Eswatini Environmental Authority(EEA) has urged emaSwati to apply for grants for the establishment of environmental projects within their communities.
The grants of up to three-hundred Thousand Rands(R300,000.00) per application,seek to address sustainable land management, climate change adaptation,water availability management including chemical and waste management among others.
“It’s true, we are urging emaSwati to apply for the environmental grants to establish environment projects within their communities. There’s a Board of Trustees that assesses the requests and those whose projects will meet the requirements, will receive the grants to establish the projects”, said the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the Eswatini Environmental Authority(EEA) when speaking to the Swaziland News prominent editor Zweli Martin Dlamini on Tuesday evening.

On another note, issues of climate change and the preservation of the environment are part of the United Nations(UN) Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).
