EZULWINI: Mathokoza Shongwe, the Ezulwini Municipality Chief Executive Officer(CEO) has granted the “Stop Palestine-Israel War Campaign Swaziland” permission to march to the United States(US)Embassy on Wednesday morning.
This is contained in a letter dated 14th November 2023 addressed to Convener Thamsanqa Hlatswako, concerned emaSwati are highly expected to march and deliver a petition to the US Embassy, they calling for an end of the ongoing war in Israel.
“You are herby granted permission to convene at the Embassy of the United States of America on the November, 15th 2023 from 1100hrs to 1300hrs,” reads the letter in part addressed to the Convenor.
Efforts to seek a comment from the Ezulwini Municipality CEO proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
On another note, Thamsanqa Hlatswako, the Convener confirmed that, they will be marching to the US Embassy calling for an end to the ongoing war in Israel and Palestian, he invited concerned citizens to participate.
