MBABANE:Advocate Nelson Chamisa,the Zimbabwe main opposition leader has left the Citizens Coalition for Change(CCC) saying the political organization has been hijacked by the ruling Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front(ZANU-PF).
Chamisa announced his resignation from the opposition political party through a statement released on Thursday afternoon.
“My focus remains fully on Zimbabwe, asserting your victory, honoring the citizens mandate and God’s calling to provide leadership.There are fresh things we need to do.Let’s all work together for total freedom,true change and wholistic transformation for our beloved country. Giving up or giving in is not an option. Nothing comes without tenacity and resilience”, said the opposition leader on X(formerly Twitter) when confirming the statement announcing his resignation from the CCC.
