LOZITHA:Percy Simelane, the King’s Spokesperson has warned Julius Malema, the Commander-in-Chief(CIC) of the Economic Freedom Fighters(EFF) who stated that, the political organization will advocate for the Southern African Development Community(SADC) to declare that Mswati committed crimes against humanity for all the killings of citizens.

Addressing thousands of EFF members and supporters at Moses Mabhida Stadium when launching the party’s manifesto ahead of the South African 2024 elections, the EFF leader stated categorically that, the party will continue to support the eSwatini struggle.

“The EFF government will continue to advocate for SADC to declare that the Monarch of King Mswati has committed crimes against humanity for all the killing of its citizens”,said the EFF leader.

But King’s Spokesperson Percy Simelane, when responding to this Swaziland News on Sunday evening clarified that, the King does not go into any battle with unarmed individuals.

“Going into a battle of wits with anyone who is not armed  is not our kind of fun.Mr Malema's wish is too far fetched to deserve a serious comment from us.We can only wish him all the best in his weird witch hunt.We have not forgotten how other political enthusiasts tried to take the same witch hunt to the Intetnational Criminal Court but hit a snag.Eswatini is not a South African colony but a sovereign state. We will continue to wonder what makes Mr Malema to think SADC is a Polokwane spit-bowl led by Airheads who mistake individual opinions on the streets for policies and working agendas for the organ”, said the King’s Spokesperson.
