MBABANE: Siboniso 405 Mkhabela, the National Organizing Secretary(NOS) of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) was on Wednesday afternoon abducted by a battalion of armed police officers in Mbabane as King Mswati’s regime intensifies crackdown on pro-democracy activists.
Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati declined to comment regarding the abduction of the PUDEMO leader.
Mkhabela was among the PUDEMO leaders who were leading a protest against the ongoing grabbing of land by Taiwan nationals, they marched to the Ministry of Tinkhundla and Development to deliver a petition
Speaking to this Swaziland News after the abduction of Mkhabela, Vuyiswa Maseko a leader of the Communist of Swaziland(CPS) urged this journalist to inform the Nation before anything happens to the PUDEMO leader.

"Plsease inform the nation and other leaders that Mkhabela has been abducted. We are in hiding now including PUDEMO Deputy President after inhaling teargas”,said the CPS leader.
On another note, members of the Communist Party of Swaziland(CPS) were among those who were leading the protest against the ongoing human rights violations in eSwatini.
