MBABANE: Thantaza Silolo,the Spokesperson of the Swaziland Liberation Movement(SWALIMO) says the reports alleging involvement of eSwatini in the attempt to overthrow Felix Tshisekedi, the democratically elected President of the Democratic Republic of Congo(DRC) and the continued provocation of China will create enemies of the State and the people of eSwatini.

Government Spokesperson Alpheous Nxumalo declined to comment about the alleged involvement of the country in the DRC attempted coup.

Speaking to this Swaziland News on Wednesday, the SWALIMO Spokesperson noted that, eSwatini seems to be deeply involved in the affairs of other countries these days, he warned that tension might erupt particularly after the attempted coup in the DRC.

“You will note that it is becoming a norm for the King and the Government to be involved in other countries affairs.In the issue of Taiwan, our country is fully involved despite China’s consistent warnings that, Taiwan is its province not a country. Even the attempted coup in the DRC, there’s a suspected involvement of eSwatini, this will create enemies of the State internationally, including the region”, said the SWALIMO Spokesperson.
