MBABANE:Velaphi Mamba’s pro-democracy ‘Visionary Perspective’ program is consistently gaining more popularity.
On Sunday,the program hosted on Swaziland News Facebook page, reached over fifty thousand(50000) viewers in less than twelve(12) hours.
The program hosted by the human rights defender and United States(US) Havard University Masters in Public Administration(MPA) graduate, lectures emaSwati about democracy,good governance and human rights.
Swaziland News is an internationally recognized independent and leading online publication in eSwatini,with over three hundred thousand(300 000) followers on Facebook, over 2million website readers and over sixty-four thousand(64 000) X(formerly Twitter) followers.
The publication focuses on investigative journalism,issues of democracy and human rights among others.
On another note,the PUDEMO Treasurer General urged emaSwati to fight for democracy and demand to have money not Somhlolo’s politicized “Umculo”, he said royalty “is focusing on money while urging emaSwati to follow Umculo” as a politicized tool of oppression.
“We want money here, we are fighting to have money.Every Liswati must have money, even the elderly must be paid not less than two thousand Rands(R2000.00) as a monthly grant. We want money not Somhlolo’s Umculo”, said the PUDEMO Treasurer General.
