On Saturday, at Wizards Sports Ground in Sigcaweni, Mdumezulu emerged victorious in the INSTACASH Lubombo FA Cup: Sigcaweni championship. With a nail-biting final score of 1-0 against TKZee FC, Mdumezulu showcased their skill and determination.
The lone goal that sealed their fate came from a brilliant strike in the second half, sparking jubilant celebrations among their fans.
TKZee FC, despite a valiant effort, had to settle for the first runners-up title.
Also on Saturday, the action heated up at KaShoba Sports Ground, where Hot Chillies claimed the title of INSTACASH Lubombo Eastern Zone champions.
They battled Matsetsa Chiefs in a nail-biting final that concluded with a 2-1 scoreline.
Hot Chillies took the lead early and managed to maintain their advantage despite a late surge from Matsetsa, who scored a consolation goal.
The excitement continued on Sunday at Matata Big Bend, where Mganyaneni United claimed the INSTACASH Lubombo Southern Zone championship.
In a closely contested match against Mahlabaneni, Mganyaneni secured a 2-1 victory.
The team\'s solid defense and effective counter-attacks proved decisive, helping them lift the trophy above their heads in celebration.
Like their counterparts from the previous day, Mganyaneni received a new soccer kit and prize money for their impressive performance.
