Stoo’s Stars, Vuvulane, Ngcoseni Peacemakers crowned INSTACASH Champions.

MANZINI:This past weekend witnessed electrifying football action as the INSTACASH Manzini Independent League Cup held three exciting tournaments across the region,with three champions lifting silverware.

At the Mantshonga Sports Ground, the atmosphere was electric as Vuvulane FC claimed the Ngculwini Championship title on Saturday. 

The match against Mantshonga FC was a gripping contest that culminated in a tense penalty shootout after both teams ended regular time deadlocked. Vuvulane FC held their nerves, ultimately winning the shootout and securing the championship in a dramatic finish.

In a parallel tournament, Stoo’s Stars FC emerged as the Mahlangatsha Champions after a thrilling showdown against Arsenal. 

The teams battled fiercely, and when the final whistle blew, the score was tied. However, Stoo's Stars showcased their composure, converting their penalties with precision to clinch a 4-2 victory in the shootout.

The excitement continued on Sunday at the Mgazini Sports Ground, where an astonishing 25 goals were scored in the final match of the Mgazini/Ngcoseni Championship. 

The Ngcoseni Peacemakers faced off against AS Vita FC in a high-octane encounter that had fans on the edge of their seats.

After a pulsating 2-2 draw, the tension soared during penalties. The Peacemakers emerged victorious in yet another nail-biter, prevailing 11-10 in the shootout to claim the championship title.
