MBABANE:Mfankhona Nkambule, the Acting Times Sunday editor has come out in defense of SwaziPharm Director Kareem Ashraff, the alleged multibillion drugs shortage thief who allegedly collapsed the public health system.

In an article published on Sunday, Nkambule said, the blame should be directed to health workers who “steal medication” not Ashraff adding that, the theft of drugs within the Central Medical Stores(CMS) has been reported several times.

The Acting editor further highlighted that, it was not only Ashraff’s SwaziPharm who supplied drugs to the Ministry of Health, other suppliers must be blamed as well.
