MBABANE:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini handed over the King’s Baton to Malawi as part of the 2026 Commonwealth Games preparations.
Government online platforms reported that, eSwatini had received the Baton from the Republic of Ghana and now hands it over to Malawi.This year’s King’s Baton Relay is unique in that each of the Commonwealth countries has customised its own Baton to represent their culture.
Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association(EOCGA) Maxwell Jele, President Adam ‘Bomber’ Mtsetfwa and members of the Executive Board Zakhele Dlamini, Sibusiso Matsentjwa, Thobile Dlamini and Ntombi Masango were present at the Cabinet Offices this week during the handover Baton to Malawi.
