MBABANE:Concerned People Living with HIV in Eswatini has applauded Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini for appointing Hani Thulaziswe Dlamini as a member of the National Emergency Response Council on HIV/AIDS(NERCHA) Board.
In a statement sent to this Swaziland News on Tuesday, the organization for People Living with HIV said, Dlamini’s appointment by the Prime Minister will enable him to contribute in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
“His courage in being the first man to openly declare and discuss his HIV status and living with HIV has not only inspired many but has also played a crucial role in breaking the stigma surrounding the condition in our Nation/communities”, reads the statement in part.
Hani Dlamini will work with King’s Legal Advisor Ntsika Fakudze and other members of the NERCHA Board in driving and formulating policies seeking to fight HIV/AIDS in eSwatini.
