MBABANE:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini allegedly protected Naniki Mnisi, the Principal Secretary(PS) in the Ministry of Education and Training who is at loggerheads with Minister Owen Nxumalo.
Officials within the Ministry of Education told this publication that, some of them approached the Prime Minister to report allegations of abuse of power, fraud and corruption against the PS but, there was no action.
“We gave the PM some documents and he did not take any action against the PS, now the working environment is not conducive here”, said one of the Government officials.
An effort was made by this Swaziland News to contact the Prime Minister but he couldn’t be reached and reportedly in a flight back home from Malawi where he was attending the inauguration of newly elected President Peter Mutharika.
PS Naniki Mnisi has been making headlines amid tension with Minister Owen Nxumalo but both the PS and the Minister are accusing each other of corruption.
