MBABANE:Professor Anthoni van Nieuwkerk of the University of South Africa(UNISA) says, eSwatini must be held accountable for housing dangerous criminals while undermining regional security.

Speaking to Newzroom Afrika this week, the Professor said, South Africa or the Southern African Development Community(SADC) must take action against the Kingdom for undermining the security of the entire region.

The UNISA Professor said emaSwati lives in poverty while the King enjoys an extravagant lifestyle adding that, the dumping of the United States criminals is another project seeking to fund the King’s extravagant” lifestyle.

“If this happens, nobody cries about it too loudly it might again, the next country and a number of African countries might find themselves in this invidious position of getting monetary rewards for hosting hardened criminals. We have no idea where they are and we have no idea what’s gonna happen to them next,” said the UNISA Professor.
