Justice Minister Pholile Dlamini and his husband Michello Shakantu are, through the ‘Gupta’ style corrupt, in charge of the country for now.
As we advocate for democracy while being critical of King Mswati, we must know that the King operates through individuals like Inyatsi boss Michello Shakantu, who owns Swazi Mobile, they are now buying giant companies and grabbing mineral resources and public properties before the democratic government takes over.
Michello Shakantu and his wife, the Justice Minister are now the most powerful couple in the country, like the Guptas, Shakantu controls decisions of the Monarch while Pholile controls the courts to protect the interests of the corrupt Inyatsi syndicate.
It is for these reasons, MP Phila Buthelezi who has been in and out of Michello Shakantu’s office for private visits was subsequently appointed Minister of Labour and Social Security, this is the portfolio that deals with employers and it suffocates workers through low wages.
Phila Buthelezi was the Chairperson of the Public Accounts Commitee(PAC) and the Commitee never investigated any transaction involving Inyatsi and companies linked to royalty.
Instead, small fish like Headteachers were targeted to create an impression in the eyes of the unsuspecting public that the Commitee was functional.
At some point in 2019, while I was doing a journalism internship with AmaBhungane Centre for Investigative Journalism in South Africa, I got hold of a WhatsApp message where Buthelezi, the then PAC Chairperson was telling a former Minister that King Mswati summoned him with Senate President Lindiwe Dlamini and the late Prime Minister Mandvulo Dlamini where they were warned to stop investigating the Nhlangano-Sicunusa Road where millions were looted by Kukhanya Construction.
King Mswati through his son Prince Sicalo was also linked in this looting by Kukhanya Construction and now he wants to take over the project and loot again through Inyatsi.
In his own words in the messages, Phila Buthelezi said “kusho kutsi ngeke-ke silwe ne-corruption kulelive nakusasetjentwa kanje”.
This means even though Buthelezi was eager to work for the people and fight corruption, he was subsequently captured by Mswati and the Michello syndicate and through questionable business deals, the now Labour Minister has been corrupted.
Justice Minister Pholile Shakantu went to Geneva to disseminate outright lies to the world saying the country was committed to promoting human rights and these lies were subsequently legitimized by a State controlled newspaper through a report suggesting that eSwatini was praised for promoting human rights.
Well, let me bring to the attention of the Justice Minister that no amount of propaganda will ever stop the people from demanding democratic reforms and once that is achieved, all the public properties they are currently stealing with her husband and Mswati must be surrendered to the people.
Mswati and his Inyatsi syndicate are buying properties, taking over mines like Maloma and by so doing, they hope to become richer in the new democratic dispensation so they could afford to use their financial power to impose a Head of Government and be in charge of our political affairs again.
It is important for the Justice Minister to know that some of us, our minds were never castrated, we are following closely on the last minute buying of private companies and grabbing of State resources.
I listened to Justice Minister Pholile Shakantu when she presented the report to the United Nations saying the country was committed into promoting human rights and that the political unrest was triggered by COVID-19 frustrations among the citizens.
It seems like Pholile Dlamini is very fluent and skillful in presenting lies but unfortunately, the people are now empowered with the truth and cannot take propaganda anymore.
When Swazi Mobile was established, I wrote an article warning this Nation that it was dangerous to have corrupt individuals owning a company that controls communication with access to people’s secrets contained in their cell phones.
Now, Michello Shakantu, King Mswati, Pholile Shakantu and their syndicate can spy on their competitors, Judges, Ministers, MPs and everyone to control this country because they have direct access to their communication through Swazi Mobile.
As a result, Inyatsi Michello Shakantu, the Director of Swazi Mobile through his business partner Mswati, is holding our country by the balls but the end, we will free ourselves from the capitalists and the dictator.
On the other hand, Justice Minister Pholile Shakantu is playing a very important role for the syndicate, workers hardly win court cases against Inyatsi and entities linked to Michello and Mswati.
Pholile Shakantu went as far as using the Prevention of Organized Crime(POCA) Act, grabbing people’s properties and seizing millions held in various bank accounts owned by those suspected to be involved in illegal dealings.
It was enigmatic how in the first place, a wife to a corrupt individual like Inyatsi boss Michello Shakantu was appointed to be charge of the judiciary, a very important arm of government.
In conclusion and in light of the aforementioned, it is important to warn the Nation to keep their eyes wide open and monitor this Inyatsi syndicate, these people must surrender all stolen State resources to the people.
No amount of propaganda from the ‘First Lady’ Pholile Shakantu or anyone acting on behalf of this regime will stop the people from demanding both political and economic freedom.
