COVID-19: King’s Incwala ritual man Boy Mdluli has dies

LOBAMBA: King Mswati’s right hand man Boy Mdluli has died allegedly due to COVID-19.

Mdluli who was working as Deputy Protocol Officer in the King’s Office and was playing a key role during the on-going Incwala ritual ceremony died on Saturday during the Boxing Day, while receiving treatment for a COVID-19 related illness at the Siteki Referral Hospital.

The death of Mdluli was confirmed by royal insider who work closely to King Mswati, his name cannot be revealed because of the sensitivity of the matter and the position he occupies within the royal family.

“It’s true, he died today(Saturday) but I suggest you call Indvuna Lusendvo because he is the one who must confirm to you officially” said the royal insider.

When reached for comments, Ludzidzini Governor Lusendvo Fakudze did not deny the unfortunate death of Mdluli but said it was yet to be reported to him officially as he was not at Ludzidzini.

“I haven’t received an official report about it mntfwanami as I’m not feeling well, ngiphetfwe ngumkhuhlane angikho eLudzidzini(I’m not feeling well and I’m currently out of Ludzidzini Palace).

The death of King’s right hand man comes few hours after Prime Minister Ambrose Mandvulo Dlamini who died allegedly after testing positive to COVID-19.
