When King Mswati preached at Mandvulo Hall-Lozitha Palace appealing to be told the truth and correctly advised, I remembered John 14 verse 6 where Jesus told his disciples that, “he is the way, the truth and the life”.
Indeed, Jesus’ other name is “Truth” and thats why he said “I am the Truth”, and therefore, when one speaks the Truth, that person is speaking Jesus Christ himself and in my analysis, if Mswati was genuine that he “is longing to be told the Truth”, that would mean part of the King’s spiritual being, might be longing for Jesus.
In the Book of Proverbs 8 verse 22-31, written by King Solomon, the son of King David, Jesus appears again describing himself “as Wisdom”, he said;
“I, wisdom, was with the Lord when he began his work, long before he made anything else”.
Well,I am not a Pastor and due to the limited reasonable number of words expected in an article, I cannot expand on the Jesus who was already there in the beginning and his subsequent mission on Earth before being killed by Jews on politically motivated treason charges.
But I am particularly concerned with the conduct of Parliament, despite the King’s appeal for the Truth, Members of Parliament(MPs) have elected five(5) MPs to meet and thank Mswati for delivering his Speech from the Throne, appointed MP Prince Lindani will be leading the MPs.
King Mswati is a dictator but a human being as well and therefore, the mere fact that part of his spiritual being is longing for the Truth suggests that, he might either be aging with wisdom or his conscience(Nembeza) is fighting the evil inside, consistently reminding him to do the right thing.
When one accepts Jesus as his personal Savior, there’s a unique feeling inside that cannot be explained, only those who accepted Jesus understand this feeling.
But it’s a feeling of internal peace and happiness that cannot be compared to anything, not even desired treasures of this world could ever be equated to that happiness and peace.
King Mswati might be missing or longing for that feeling, we must remember that, he is fast approaching sixty(60) years now and, has tested almost all treasures of this world, he misses the Truth that cannot be found anywhere near the thieves who surrounds him.
The “Truth is life” and there comes a time in life where one feels like “I have done and tested everything” and now, I want the Truth before I leave this world.
The King has tested beautiful women of his choice, driven fancy cars, purchased private jets but seemingly, the souls of the oppressed emaSwati are not giving him peace, he is longing for the Truth.
King Solomon, in the Book of Proverbs said “Konkhe ngaphansi kwemtfunti welilanga kulite lelite”.
The MPs who will meet and thank Mswati for his Speech from the Throne must use this opportunity to communicate the Truth to the King, emaSwati are living in poverty and oppressed.
But as King Mswati appeals for the Truth, he must remember that, the Truth is a spiritual being with the ability to correct him and he must be willing to be corrected by the Truth, as mentioned the Truth is Jesus.
