PIGG’S PEAK:Mancoba Khumalo, the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade has emphasized the importance of capacitating young people and women with technology skills.
The Minister was speaking on Wednesday when officially launching the Pigg’s Peak iHub Internet Centre supported by the United Nations Development Program(UNDP), the Small Enterprise Development Company(SEDCO) and the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology(ICT) among other stakeholders. He said the primary objective of “this initiative is to equip young people and women with practical business and ICT skills, fostering an entrepreneurial mind-set that transforms them from job seekers into job creators”.
Minister of ICT Savannah Maziya, Eswatini Communications Commission Chief Executive Officer Prince Mvilawemphi and Pigg’s Peak Member of Parliament(MP) who doubles as the Speaker in the House of Assembly were present during the launch.
